To start, choose a domain from the DMARCwise dashboard and browse to the **DMARC** page, which looks like this:

If you haven't set up DMARC yet, you'll also see an onboarding section. Read more in [Setting up DMARC](/docs/dmarc/setup).

## DMARC statistics

At the top of the page, you'll see some quick statistics extracted from the DMARC reports for the domain. This includes:

- The number of emails reported.
- How many of these emails where just monitored and how many were quarantined or rejected.
- The overall DMARC compliance percentage.

The charts help you quickly identify trends for the past month. Hover over a chart bar to see the corresponding date and value.

Click on a disposition (quarantined/rejected) to navigate to the [Explorer](/docs/dmarc/explorer) and investigate the email flows that were affected by the policy.

## DMARC record overview

The DMARCwise dashboard conveniently shows your current DMARC configuration in an easy-to-read table.

Fo reach record tag, we show:

- Both the friendly name (e.g. "Subdomain Policy") and the corresponding tag name (e.g. `sp`).
- The tag value and its meaning, or "(not set)" if the tag was not found.
- Whether the value shown derives from a default according to the DMARC specification or from the DNS record.

At any time, you can see the raw DMARC record as a DNS string at the bottom of the table.

To see the previous versions of your DMARC record, select **History** from the navigation menu.

## DMARC record hosting

If your DMARC record is hosted by DMARCwise, you'll see a mention of it above the DMARC record table. It should say "Hosted by DMARCwise" with a <DocsButton>Manage</DocsButton> button that leads you to the hosted record management page.

## Checks and validation issues

**Checks** and **Validation issues** are two features that help you discover issues with your DMARC configuration and DNS record.

They evaluate the adherence of the configuration to **standards and best practices**, to ensure best compatibility and interoperability.

Learn more about these features in [Checks and validation](/docs/dmarc/checks).
