# Notification emails


DMARCwise sends automated notification emails for various organization-related events. This page lists all email types and their recipients.

## Organization lifecycle

These emails are triggered by user actions within the organization.

| Email | Recipient |
|---|---|
| Ownership transferred | The **new owner** of the organization. |
| Organization deleted | The **owner** of the organization. |

## Team members management

When a new team member is added or invited, the following email types are sent.

| Email                         | Recipient             |
| ----------------------------- | --------------------- |
| Member setup (password login) | The **invited user**. |
| SSO invitation                | The **invited user**. |

## Subscription management

Our payment processor, **Paddle**, handles payments and subscriptions and sends invoices and reminders to the **billing email address** set in the organization settings. See [Billing](/docs/organization/billing) for more information.

In addition to this, we also send the following emails:

| Free trial expiring      | The **owner** of the organization, all verified users with the **billing** role and the global **billing email address**. |
| Free plan limit exceeded | The **owner** of the organization, all verified users with the **billing** role and the global **billing email address**. |

## Domain management

These emails are sent automatically in response to events related to domain management.

| DMARC/TLSRPT domain validated | The **user who added** the domain. |
| Import completed/failed | The **user who started** the import |
| SSO (SAML metadata fetch) error | The **owner** of the organization and all verified **admins**. |
| Hosted services suspension warning | The **owner** of the organization and all verified **admins**. |
| Hosted MTA-STS MX records changed | All active organization **owners** and **admins**. |
| Hosted MTA-STS DNS records need attention | All active organization **owners** and **admins**. |
| Hosted MTA-STS certificate issuance/renewal needs attention | All active organization **owners** and **admins**. |

## Weekly digests

Weekly digest emails are sent every Monday. Who receives these emails is fully configurable.
