Introducing alerts and notifications for domain health

DMARCwise now has alerts to help you keep track of ongoing problems on your domains and get notified when something needs attention.
Alerts bring together checks, record validation, and other health signals. They stay active while a problem is present and are resolved automatically once it’s fixed.
Alerts also build on the notification center: alert notifications tell you when a problem is detected, when a new problem is added to an active alert, and when the alert is resolved. These updates appear in the notification feed with details of the problems found, and can also be sent by email.
The first alert types cover:
- DMARC record health: validation errors and warnings in your DMARC records.
- SPF record health: problems in your SPF records and their resolution chains, including exceeded DNS lookup limits.
- TLSRPT record health: validation errors and warnings in your SMTP TLS reporting records.
- Hosted DMARC health: missing or incorrect CNAME records for hosted DMARC.
- Hosted MTA-STS health: problems with the CNAME records or certificate for hosted MTA-STS.
Open Notifications to see Active alerts and click an alert to investigate the affected domain.
Owners and admins can choose which rules are enabled under Settings → Alerts, and configure record health rules to alert on errors only or on errors and warnings. Each user can choose which alert notifications they receive by email under Account settings → Notifications.
